Foxy was rescued from a livestock auction in California and originally was sent to another rescue that we actually had to re-rescue him from. A very sad state of affairs and as such he never really had the fanfare of an arrival that other mustangs we took in had. We have the attitude that if we don’t have anything nice to say then we say nothing. But Foxy is a very special boy. His face is covered with a million scars and scrapes that have healed but it makes me very sad to imagine what he might have gone through to get them.

He is a Nevada mustang from Triple B, a herd that once again is to be rounded up and decimated by the BLM this summer 2019. Sadly Foxy may be one of the last horses from this spectacular herd but he is safe at Skydog and always the first to the hay cart when it comes around.

 Overall message

These are just a few of the Mustangs we have brought to the ranch, there are so many more that need a safe environment to live in.

Check back soon and meet other rescued horses and please donate to help us save more mustangs.  Over 150,000 American horses are shipped to Mexico and Canada every year and killed in the most inhumane and brutal painful way imaginable - stop the slaughter by lobbying your congressmen to Pass The SAFE ACT......
